Family outing

Met up with a friend in Carlisle this morning for a walk in Rickerby Park.  We had a good catch up and the dogs had lots of fun too both in and out the water but they kept well away from these swans and cygnets who were on a family outing.

After I dropped my friend home I popped into WCF to buy a sack of bird food and some fat balls and wanted to pay part cash and part credit card  which I've done numerous times in the past, only to be told NO they had stopped doing that.  He couldn't tell me why, just that's what he'd been told by management!  Doesn't make sense to me!
