Blue

Some lovely light at the Barbican this morning.  It was still lovely at lunchtime, too - Char and I went and sat in our new favourite 'meadowy' spot up on the highwalk.

Went out after work with a load of my colleagues to celebrate my boss's 20 year work anniversary.  We went to a Brazilian bar near Old Street - perfect for a nice summer's evening, with the doors wide open, samba music playing in the background, caipirinha cocktails and the Olympics on a big screen (for when we remembered to look at it).  The bar had a barbecue, too, so we had huge amounts of delicious food.  Lovely evening with lots of laughter - a nice antidote to some of the recent events at work.

Left just after 8:30pm and caught the tube to London Bridge with Char, then said goodbye to her and caught the train home to Blackheath - where lovely Tim came and met me from the station :)
