We've had a very good week at the Rocky's Plaice Holiday Club! The children loved it and had some really good experiences. Attendance was good, between 35 and 45 kids every day! A bit less than last year but we also had a few fewer team members so that worked out well. We had our usual finale and buffet as well which had a good number of parents at it. The whole week went really smoothly and we had sunny weather every day for the first time in I don't know how long!

My health held up very well throughout the week too which I was grateful for. I did my usual with the projection and helped out with the nine-year-olds again. There were six of us in that group so more than usual, that's quite often the smallest group!

Pictured here is Ozzy the Octopus, the mascot of this year's club who was hidden every day, the kids scored points if they could find him - he displayed himself front and centre for the final evening, he'd lost his shyness!
