A single .....

..... Rose!
This little gem arrives every year, roses are difficult in my garden as they always get black spot, try as I may I can't get rid of it, however this " gem " arrives in my front garden each year.
I thought it was appropriate for today's blip ---- I went to see Rosemary today and just like this " gem " , she is surviving and I must say much much better than when I saw her last week. Her daughter phoned me on Tuesday and said she was very weak, not walking and having her food liquidised!! Today , tho still sleepy, I woke her and she was alert , talking , most of the time making sense, eating and the nurse says walking and blood loss has stopped. Then I went and booked seats to see King Lear , by video link , from the RSC . It's not until October but you need to get seats booked.
I've been doing a bit of lopping of trees, well what I could reach, and general tidying-up . I've got a handyman coming in 2 weeks time but I've made a start anyway.
