Its back, well nearly

What an interesting day i have had.

It started off quite early with my good lady wife waking me up telling there is a bird in the bedroom, thinking i wasnt awake and hearing things i opened one eye to find out she was right. We had a little great tit trying to get back out, so being the hero, i opened the window wide and shepherded the little birdy back out to safety.

Then it was back to Olympics, well i'm not going to tell you what has happened because you either know or you are still asleep.

Then came the, sort of, start to the rugby season, a friendly between the regional side and a select group of premiership players. It was great to back at Rodney Parade, the sun shone and the rain poured, but the atmosphere was nice and friendly. I even managed an unplanned tweet up with two lovely people who i have known on twitter for a few years and have never met.

After that, it was back to sit in front of the tv for another awesome night of the Olympics, and OH YEAH was it awesome.
