London Olympics 2012!

I am loving watching all the events at the moment, I'm just a little sad that I didn't manage to get any tickets. And once I get home there is only time to catch up with the highlights!

The good thing is though, the city is almost like a ghost town, even on the weekends.....I guess everyone has either gotten out of Dodge or are luckily enough to be watching the sporting events live.

Even my train to work is half empty.....(half full ;)

After work today me and the boy met up in town for dinner and shopping, you'll be shocked to learn that the shopping idea was his!
I took lots of pictures but I liked this one, it was the last one of the day.

I love the story about the female athlete; I don't know her name or where she's from, but she lived way up in the mountains of some remote village, one year her family finally got a television, a year later after getting the TV she watched the Olympics for the very first time, then 4 years later she was competing in it!!!!!
