Spinnaker Run

Cowes Week has been blessed with the best sailing conditions for years and today was no exception with steady Westerly winds and sparkling sea and sunshine. 
On the last leg of the races the yachts made a fine sight as they blazed down the Solent under colourful Spinnakers.
My polarising filter came in useful to cut down the glare and intensify the colours.
I could not resist trying some impressionistic images one of which is in the extras.
