Local earthenware

When I came back from Istanbul (minus mementoes) I wanted to get a couple of things to personalise my apartment. I'm not sure if it was my internal chaos post coup attempt or having people in my apartment who didn't leave it how I would have liked.

Anyway, this was the resultant purchase. I have been wanting a beautiful piece like this for a while, and this one said 'buy me' more than any I have seen when I go to the fair trad shops.

It now rests on my dining room table.
