The glorious twelfth

Checking my facts, as I do, I found this article. Not at all like me to link to The Mirror!

So, back to the story; The black Sony camera that had travelled to Japan and back and then all round northern Greece was finally reunited with the black SanDisk memory card that had travelled to Myanmar, New Zealand & Australia. At first there was some confusion and the old friends did not recognise one another but they settled down and decided to work together to take a portrait of the little red Canon that has been standing in for them, doing their job while the Sony has been incapacitated. Thank you little Canon! :-)

My next tasks will be to get to know the Sony properly and to see if there is a local Canon service who can add the missing menu parts so that it works as it should. Once I have first hand experience of both cameras working as they should as well as how well their customer support facilities respond I will be a better informed person :-)
