The seaside came to Guildford
Toddling into town at lunchtime today, I spotted this seaside set-up, complete with sand, deckchairs, candy floss stand , beach huts and even a Punch & Judy stand.
The kiddies seemed to be having a fantastic time and the mothers were likely relieved to have somewhere for the little people to burn off some summer energy.
Second picture is the same scene from a different angle, but catching another of the cows (see July 6th).
A strange day at work, with lots of desk moving, due to strangely sloping floors that have been considered a "health & safety risk" (that old chestnut). Now the office looks plain weird with almost everyone crammed over one side and now a large open space in the middle left with grubby marks on the carpet.
Thought for the day:
"NEVER apologise for what you feel. It's like saying sorry for being real." (Sun-gazing.com)
