Orange hair, scrubbing, ice cubes, wifi??!!

Today has been a bit traumatic. Well not so much traumatic as just 'busy'??!!

For those of you who read our Blip yesterday you will know that Ann dyed her hair and it turned orange. She was aiming for ash blonde! Not just a teeny weeny bit orange................. Her whole head looked like a giant carrot!!! So this morning I had to get up really early and go for my walk along the lane before anyone else was up and about. Fortunately we did not see anyone along the lane.

On a Friday Ann does 'scrubbing' (ie she cleans 2 of her neighbours properties that are holiday lets). This morning she was woken up at about 5.30am by people opening and shutting car doors. Turns out one lot of holiday makers left at 6am so Ann was able to start her scrubbing at 7.45am after my walk. What a b***** mess?!! Holiday makers are supposed to leave the property how they found it. August holiday makers are a nightmare. They moan about everything, don't even empty the bins when they leave, splatter toothpaste all over the bathroom walls/floor, eat stuff in bed and seriously stain the sheets, don't even ask??  leave more sand in the property than there is down the beach. And generally just have absolutely no respect for someone else's property. Grrrrrrrr.................... Or perhaps this is how they live at home?????

Anyway, after Ann had finished her scrubbing (which took a very long time); I thought I'd be getting my walk. Unfortunately not??!! Ann said, 'Molly, the next priority in my life is toning down my hair so that people stop calling me 'carrots'. Actually nobody called her 'carrots' because when she went into town she wore a scarf over her head so everyone just thought she was some artistic arty type person. All is sorted now and Ann looks as glamorous as always. Lol!

…....................And then I got my afternoon walk. Yay! Had a bit of a play first and then trekked around town. We always meet people that we know around town and Ann wanted to gage their reaction to her 'revised carrot top hair'. No-one reacted! Phew!!!!

Went to the Beach Bar and Ann ordered a glass of iced water. What no wine?!! She gave me 3 ice cubes. Ice cubes are very nice. Why has she not thought about giving me ice cubes before??? I crunched them and sucked them and licked them. Ice cubes are fab! Ann can't believe that she's never thought about giving me ice cubes before???

Came home, Ann sat on her wine drinking chair for 15 mins with wine obviously and then her friends Margaret & Chris (in this Blip) came round to use our Wi-Fi because Margaret's just moved house and apparently can't be connected for 10 days??? Obviously connecting to wifi involved drinking wine.

…........And taking my Blip for today???!!!
And now we're off to bed.
