Zeke and Eve were served similar sized portions of food and sat down to eat at exactly the same time. 30 seconds later, Z had machined his way through his food while Eve was still considering the possibility of accepting the presence of tarragon and mustard seeds in the sauce. Quite unusual for food habits to be this way round but Miss B is all about refining her palate and asserting herself with meal choices at the moment. I doubt it will last as she's a big fan of good food.

A wonderful moment today when I went to see Carrot in hospital (Gma Betty has been transferred to same hospital) thinking that she was waiting for labour to get underway and trying to persuade her midwife to let her home to get comfortable.... but I walked in to find the most beautiful baby next to her!!!! I'd totally misunderstood why she was pushing to be discharged from hospital! I felt so lucky to meet beautiful baby Arthur, only hours old. Delicious moment.
