The view from here...

Well, not quite. This is actually the view from Beaumaris pier which we can see from our accommodation for the week. Google reckoned that the journey would take us under three hours so we had a fairly leisurely pack up this morning and left at eleven. Four and a half hours later with one half hour stop for lunch and being nose to tail in lots of traffic along the way, we arrived at Menai Bridge to do a food shop before heading to Beaumaris.

In and unloaded and Bailey scoped everything out, including the garden. He's not impressed that he can't go out there on his own but I don't think the neighbours will want company.

Dad and I walked Bailey into Beaumaris after tea to get our bearings and buy some beer. And now Bailey is snoring whilst we watch the Olympics and the view.
