AOG12 - The Big Guns!

Okay so the little white butterflies in the Team Butterfly, have just been too flighty to do anything useful. All they do is just flutter about aimlessly! So the Big Guns have flown in to help, and maybe keep the rest of the team in order!

This one just flew down in the sensory gardens of Buckfast Abbey whilst we were walking around, and posed beautifully for me. trouble is, I don't know the variety. Anyone else know? Maybe he has grown to this size (about 2.5"/3" wing span), because he has been tasting the Buckfast tonic wine! (Hehe)

I am hoping that it isn't a day moth, which might just null and void anything the butterflies may have succeeded in doing already. On the other hand it could just mean gold!!
