Flower Friday - For Anni

It is a stinking hot day....so bad that I nixed my plans to go to Brookside Gardens at 7 a.m. in an effort to beat the heat because it was already too hot.  So instead I  decided to see what I could get here at home.  I bought a mix of flowers last Sunday and most are looking pretty bad but this group of yellow flowers still had a little perkiness. I liked that one of the flowers had a bit of unruly pinks in the center.  This was taken with the Lensbaby Sweet Optic 35 + small extension tube, and then properly faffed with in LR and PS.  

No insects today because  this was made especially for Anni, with a bit of technology (a stretch, I know) to wish her a very speedy recovery.
