They love you ears

Late Friday night saw a trip through to glasgow for the third of the bi-monthy Optimo Friday night events at the Sub Club. We were a bit less organised than we thought and got there at half past midnight to face a queue. It didn't take long to get in though, and what a great night. The music is always great but last night it was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic too. I forgot how warm the Sub Club can be in summer though.

The only disappointment of the whle night was that, possibly due to the heat of 400 people dancing in an already hot club, the fir alarm went off at twenty to three. Between getting everyone out and waiting for the Fir Brigade there was no hope of getting back in for a last dance, bit of a shame as it was all set up for an amazing last fifteen - twenty minutes.

Still, every cloud and all that, Jonnie and Keith are playing in Methil next Saturday night and having the night cut short has definitely left us wanting more, plus I got a rare opportunity to blip them both at the same time.
