Skyward

Again windy today but much worse.   

Cleaned up this morning, got rid of all the dust from yesterday.(now it is worse than this morning).   We set off down to the Port as there was to be an Air-Sea Rescue demonstration at 1.00 o'clock.   

Earlier we had gone to book the Italian Restaurant on the Promenade for tomorrow night and had tostadas and coffee while we were waiting.

Having sat in the wind with the sand from the beach blasting at us we called it a day.   The rescue boat stayed firmly anchored in the Port, and no sign of the Helicopter.   Hopefully it had not been called in for a real emergency.    Perhaps they thought it too windy for a good demonstration, although I expect these are the conditions they would normally operate in.

It may be the case that it was done just with the Helicopter and we missed it!   Time will tell.   The Rescue Boat is there until the 14th so hopefully may see it out another day.

As it is Friday my alternative  for today is taken at the back of our apartment block looking skyward up the cliff with the Oleander in the foreground.
