Fond farewell

Today was the funeral of our good friend and bell ringer Colin.

I have known Colin for 16 years and have ring with him for all those years.  He has been a constant in our lives and we will miss him very much.  Colin was one in a million, bigoted, opinionated, very non-pc, wickedly funny and with a quick wit. 

His son said today that Colin never really understood the art of conversation as he didn't grasp the fundamental point that it took two people!!  

Rest in peace Colin, you're free from all the pain now, it was marvelous knowing you xx
