Setting

Katie was very excited today. For today she got a new dance for her song and dance solo. She has done brilliantly with what she had but is definitely now ready for something more challenging. The new dance is adorable.

Setting came at the end of a full day dancing for the second day of summer school. She wanted a new leotard so I sewed one up this morning. Crazy bright rainbows! They had a great day. They worked on their dances from yesterday and then afternoon lunch a former student who has been appearing in Cats came to teach them. She worked with them all for a while and then the younger ones went to work on a second Annie routine.

Katie & I took balletbaby and the doggies out for a walk after her setting. Katie looked at me and grinned- "mama, I do like being at dance class".
