Maud Mood

Mount Maud that is. I don’t know any one called Maud but it’s not a common name these days…so says The Boss.

It got to 10 C this arfo…which was positively warm as we did the big loop through the Sticky Forest and The Boss managed to leave ferns alone. There was even some blossom showing but he managed to avoid that too.


For the first time ever we met a lovely couple on the track that spoke American and liked Wheaten Terriers. They were probably NZ’ers as they had been here some time and knew lots of folk that The Boss knew including dogs…
