RUNNING MEDALS

The Abstract Thursday theme for today is RUN.  So I have taken a shot of a couple of Neil's Great North Run Medals - 2007 and 2013. Used the Fish Eye effect on my camera and did a bit of tweaking in Picasa. Thanks to youoregon1for organising the challenge.

Busy day today.  Cleaned the bathroom and kitchen.  Walked down to the village for shopping.  Did the hoovering.  Tidied up downstairs.  Had my tea - salmon and salad.  And around 7.10pm Becky and Mike arrived. 

After they had eaten their tea we decided to go for a walk.  We went down to the village then back home by a longer route which took us past The Fellsider pub.  It has recently been refurbished so we popped in for one drink to see what it was like.  They have done a good job.  We sat in " The Snug" - tartan carpet and furnishings - very cosy.  It was raining when we came out so we quickly headed home.  Watching the Olympics now.  Just seen GB win a gold medal in the cycling and now watching GB versus Figi in the Rugby Sevens.
