A visit to the Palace!

Hampton Court Palace!
 
I met up with Alison, Max & Annie for our day out. It was amazing. The children were happy to look round the Palace before the outdoor play activities. 

The gentleman in uniform was very imposing and the scenes being acted out brought the Palace to life for the children (and adults).
 
Annie was taken by the Gnomes which were dotted about the garden. There was a button on the arm which when pushed active a recording of a story about the palace and it’s occupants over time.
 
We ended the day in the Maze! Great fun, with moments of horror when we thought we were really lost, but we made it (With a pic of A & children in extras) !! The idea is to find your way back to the beginning again, but we didn’t manage that and had to exit by the alternative gate.

The journey home for me was slow due to an earlier rail incident. I was pleased that B was collecting me from Newark as the Lincoln passengers were being bussed the last leg of the journey.
