"not in harmony or keeping with the surroundings or other aspects of something" (though not necessarily a negative connotation).  I have been trying to shoot the top of this small church across the field for weeks and finally managed a shot today (from a moving vehicle).  It's the Church of the Angel Gabriel in village of Gribki, north west of Moscow.  Taken at a distance of 501 meters (according to Google maps). Autumn also much closer than we think and very evident in the changing colours of (some of) the foliage.
