Gin Tasting at the Caley
The festival photography with the girls was a bit of a washout due to the inclement weather. We did pay the £2 for a photography pass at St Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile, but it was so busy it was a bit of a hopeless case. The upside of that was the reason it was so busy was the swing band concert that was underway, so we had some swing photography.
The icing on the cake was the afternoon Gin tasting from the Eden Mill Distillery at the Caledonian hotel, courtesy of Caroline. We were Guinea pigs for the Eden mills first tutored tasting in the festival. Many more available if you're interested. It was very good, a lovely Gin cocktail to start followed by a flight of five different gins with different mixers. Particularly enjoyed the aromatic Love Gin with rose petal lemonade. Bliss!
Bit tipsy now though!
