Drugged

Poor Basil's skin has flared-up again and he and I both had virtually no sleep last night while he itched and scratched and wandered around, unable to get any relief. So I took him to the vet today and we've stopped the steroids and put him on a relatively new anti-itch medication. I had this recommended to me a while ago by a dog walker I see over the common sometimes so when the vet suggested it I jumped at the chance. At this stage of Basil's life it's all about the quality. He also has an ear infection so he's got drops for that. Fingers crossed he'll be feeling better soon.
