Evening in Talmont

Lovely sunset as we headed out to Talmont sur Gironde to meet up with friends. We had heard that the shops and restaurants stayed open until midnight and all the little paths and alleyways were lit up with candles every Tuesday during the holiday season. There was live music and the church was lit up with colours changing every few minutes, so it was very picturesque and pretty.
We had a galette and a glass of wine and also said 'hello' to our friend Pete, whose ashes are behind the war memorial overlooking the sea, as he loved it there.
