Summer ghost

The Museum has a show from their textiles department showing how certain garments help keep you cool in summertime heat.  This is an "under kimono" hand painted in the design of a ghost, wistfully floating from a lantern (a typical summer motif).  Scary ghost stories are said to send a cold chill down one's spine,  thereby keeping one cool.  Altho, I wouldn't want to make a practice of it, just to keep cool.
The solid blocks under the sleeves and hem are merely shadows from the display.
