on the mile

It's Wednesday, I am in town and it's the festival. Wandered along the Royal Mile to see what's going on. It's very busy. There were some excellent street performers. And I must admit I quite like the living statues. I particularly liked Marie Curie - one of my heroines.

I have in mind to change my photo workflow to darktable. It looks like it will do all I want. Some initial experiments look very promising. But it's so hard to change, especially when you want to quickly sort out the current batch of photos. Will need to set aside a day to occupy myself with it.
