We Had A Day Trip To Montenegro Today

"We had a day trip to Montenegro today"... not something you can say everyday! It was stunningly beautiful and surprisingly different to Croatia with much more of an Eastern European feel about it, possibly due to the Russian influence as they seem to own a lot of property there and use it as their summer resort. We went with our friends who are also in Croatia this week and with whom we are renting a villa when we move inland next week. We had a really interesting guide/driver Tony who was happy to talk to us about his experiences fighting during the Balkan war...seeing it through the eyes of a man our age was fascinating and enlightening.
