DAMP DAY

Date day. We wandered around the gardens at Ross Priory and, like the bees, enjoyed the allium seed heads (extra).  

We had lunch in a funny cafe where the food is always excellent but it's hard to have a conversation as we're often the only ones there, there is no music and it's open plan.  The owner is very pleasant but also very present. 

This  week will mark the end of as issue that has been a tough challenge for a while.  Although there is a sense of relief, there is also the knowledge that the next challenge is not just round the corner - it has already arrived. 

It's a privilege to be able to share these challenges with someone who understands so completely and is so supportive and wise...and yes... I'm talking about the Prof again.
