So many butterflies

Apologies for yet another butterfly shot, but they are so prolific in our garden at the moment that it is difficult to ignore them.  Started on the new terrace this morning by making a trench foundation and setting in the first row of blocks for the retaining wall, hard toil in the sun.  N gave our small car a full valet.  It looks like new even though it is 10 years old. This afternoon we went out for a spin and sussed out the best place to buy more "parpain" (concrete building blocks).  Okay, okay, we did relax as well, with a little wine to accompany our evening meal.  Extra shows yet more butterflies, so many of them that they have to compete for their dinner!
