Washington Old Hall

Spent a couple of hours, before the rain came, exploring this fascinating and very pretty little national trust property, the ancestral home of George Washington's family. It's only about ten minutes drive away and even closer to our dance school but we've never been. The kids enjoyed the quiz in the house and a run around in the gardens, before planting peas for one of the 50 Things challenges. There's a lovely wildlife garden too where I spotted some happy bees flitting around. We'll be returning sometime.
