Layers

Today was wet, seriously wet. Thankfully, Bridge House Art has a fall-back strategy to provide outdoor work under cover! We went to a farm on the shores of Loch Broom where there is a fascinating group of barns and out buildings that we were free to explore to find subjects to work on. We were working on an A1 'banner' we had prepared using different papers, printed pages and maps. Here is a detail from mine. I used parts of a map from my recent trek along the Great Glen Way. See extras for my subject (I moved the boards shown).
I was relieved to get back into my dry and warm apartment this evening - it was still quite uncomfortable being outside all day - all in the cause of creativity!
