Hogweed seed pods

Tired today after a not-very-good night's sleep. Monday evening's midge bites became very apparent once my feet warmed up under the duvet - itch itch itch all last night! Desperately trying not to scratch, as that only served to intensify the itch. Quick trip to the shop this lunchtime for itch-relief cream...

Quite like these hogweed (Common, not Giant) seed pods - lots of them by the path on Wooler Common. 

Planning an evening of domestic stuff and then some work on the website while MrM goes to Berwick to play with the jazz band in that bar.
