Probably.......
...The Most Expensive Blip In The World.
No, not this one......this one.
Got home after a pleasant walk with Mrs Cph to find a second speeding ticket for the the above early saturday morning shot. This time.. 1500 DKK (£160) for 64 km/h in a "50" km/h zone (the first fine in the other direction, was 60km/h and 1000 DKK). That's a total of 2500 DKK or £267 for one Blip, with nothing to show for it. I can still see no sign anywhere along the road that states the actual number "50" and no website, official or otherwise, that clearly states what the sign I can see means. I genuinely believed the limit was 60 and has been the 1000+ times I have driven this same route to work. I have been bitching to anyone who listens, that Denmark has terrible road signs and no consistency whatsoever.
I don't hold out too much hope that complaining will do an iota of good but complain I will, as I believe the bad signs and mobile police trap is just a money making ploy. The government has been delaying fixed cameras for a few years now and no one knows why. I could imagine they easily made between £10-30,000 in the hour or two they were there.
I also don't have £267.
Fuck.
