Playing in a Perthshire pond

Youngest in pond at Comrie Croft campsite in Perthshire.

We were up that way for a day out (Huntingtower Castle - beautiful, quirky, lovely garden for a picnic) and decided to take a peek at this campsite a friend had recommended.

We all loved it and we're now booked in for our family's first proper camping holiday together. We're starting off with just a couple of nights on one of their pitches in the woods. We'll see how that goes before we start investing in all the gear. I'm figuring a tent, sleeping bags, matches for the campfire and a few packs of sausages should do the trick!

I can almost hear the seasoned campers snorting with derision.
