Dragonfly

Had a walk around the Millennium Wood at Castle Camps this afternoon and was lucky enough to spot this resting Dragonfly...

I'm pretty sure that it's a female Southern Hawker.  It was very obliging and didn't fly away while I was fiddling around trying to get the best angle...

The extra close up shows the compound eye quite well...
