Another day, another butterfly

Today a slightly battered Comma. you can see why it is so called with the white mark on its underwing - almost lost when it seems to have lost a large section of one wing.
A big day on the ruin today with the steps slowly moving up and the level of earth and stones in the ruin very slowly moving down.
An unusual dinner from DS#1 and Charlotte A tonight - vegiburgers. DS#1 did feel it had to be accompanied by a chunk of rare duck. Not 'I hasten to add as in an endangered species of duck......
