At the Japanese garden

All 10 of us in my book club are never in town at the same time, but today it happened!…we met at the Japanese Garden in the arboretum for a bit of walking and talking and then a nearby restaurant for lunch!  We agreed the garden was much more peaceful and pleasant for conversations than the restaurant, altho the food was good.   No common book, —just talk of books and movies.   The garden this time of year is shades of green but it’s the textures that set everything off.   Here you see 2 having a conversation.   It was lovely to see them all. (extra) 

Too many small things to take care of this week —including that condo”crap” that I have not missed for a moment being at the island the last 6 weeks.   Won’t bore you.  :-)   I did prevail on H to return home one day early so I could see my friends.. :-) and he was ok with that.  


The wbc is “Black and White” so this week will be black and white…
