Celebratory coffee

Well, she only went and got straight A's in all of her Higher exams. What a star.

Last night was fraught sharing the doubts and the worries but I'll always remember the group hug in the morning sunshine when she got her results and the tears came. Immediately followed by an early showing of "Oh Brother where art thou".

Then we really indulged her by taking her to Topp's Tiles to discuss the merits of ceramic over slate tiles for the new porch.

That was before a group dinner in Gullane which was special and then we dropped Ruby at a party before heading home to catch up on goggle box.

What a great day.
