Make Hay While The Sun Shines

We took the girls to Drusilla's Park in Alfriston today, and we all had a great time!  The best part about it was that was free as we exchanged our Tesco Clubcard points for Days Out Vouchers and we took a picnic.

Drusilla's is a small zoo and a children's theme park, aimed at children between the ages of 2-10 years.  We didn't realise there was a paddling pool and splash areas so hadn't took Scarlett's swimming costume with us, but it was hot and sunny so we took her clothes off, apart from her tee-shirt and she had a great time!

Then we visited Hello Kitty's Secret Garden where she had her face painted and Rachel & I took it in turns to go on the rides with her.  Next it was a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine, and finally we went to see the animals.

When we got home, the farmer was in the field hay baling, so we stood watching him.  It was really interesting to see how they do it and the bales have already proved to be of interest for dog walkers. We've seen a couple of dogs running up and over them, and one guy was taking a photo of his dog sat on top of it.  I might take Scarlett into the field tomorrow, if the farmer isn't around.

It's been another fun day and Scarlett has said that this is her best holiday ever!   I'm really enjoying my time with my girls,  but I'm very behind on blip so please accept my apologies for the lack of comments again!
