The light was just right as we pulled into Ribblehead station on our way back from Glasgow; every spur, slope and ravine of Ingleborough revealed on the skyline. Although perhaps the exposure on the landscape version (extras) is better?

We'd pottered about the city centre for the morning but 12yo's shoulder is still bothering him, so we took an earlier train. Not the mini break in Glasgow that we'd been hoping for, but at least the kids have had a small taste of Scotland (fish supper and Irn Bru of course.)
