War and Peace

There are four stunning Lions in Saltaire, reputedly initially destined fro Trafalgar Square. never sure if that tale has any truth on it , but if there is , it is without doubt their loss and our gain. They are called War, Peace ( see extra) , Determination and Vigilance. Photographed today as I want to try and add an embroidery of one of them into a collage I am doing and needed a photo to use! A great excuse for a walk at lunchtime.
