I found 'going off' bananas today.....

....so I made a cake that I'd seen on Facebook!!  As you do!  Actually it was very nice as I added some lemon zest to the mixture and then iced it with lemon glace icing.  

The other pictures are of R digging out the big hazel root and then ....would you believe....he phoned me in the house (not too far away) and suggested I brought a drink out to celebrate!!  Ever the dutiful wife I turned the cooker off and did just that.  We toasted his effort!  As you can see there's still a bit to be done to achieve a garden........
