Vintage fayre

Today is a public holiday...Women's Day..and we visited a vintage fayre where we saw so many items of clothing and jewellery which bought back memories of bygone years! I remember well wearing gloves, especially long ones with a full length evening dress, and feeling so elegant!
My sister and I just browsed, but hubby found and bought a beautiful old charcoal sketch by a well known artist ...and at a very reasonable price too.
More browsing at another lovely shop selling just about everything (I saw a beautiful chair on sale...might go back there tomorrow) but by this time hubby was bored as there was nowhere for him to sit and sketch...so home again, and maybe now a quick peek at the Olympics.
The weather is stunning, no wind and a calm sea....even the dogs are content - they should be as they had an early morning walk!
