Freestyle Gymnastics

Well it just had to happen.  After a spectacular performance in the freestyle gymnastics this morning, Spice Girl the ex Canadian "Sockbrador" was ruled ineligible by the judges.  Only recently arrived in Australia this highly talented gymnast put on the most stunning performance.  Her effort with her Pilates Ball had the spectators on their feet.  Despite the standing ovation, it was obvious the judges were unhappy about something and we all waited with baited breath to hear their decision.  Basically they ruled that three weeks in Australia and only two weeks as a resident of Wombat Hollow did not cut the mustard and Spice Girl was told she would have to wait four more years before competing on the world stage.  We knew it was always going to be a close call, but one saving grace is that now the whole world knows about this incredible athlete and no doubt social media will make sure that this incredible athlete will have a record twitter following and many thousands of Face Book followers.  Good job Spice Girl, you should feel very proud :-))
