Two Games, Two Home Runs

The 8am game at Koshien Stadium was a marvel. Local team City Amagasaki played Hachinohe Institute Light Stars from Aomori. Amagasaki were not expected to win against the renowned Aomori team, but in the ninth inning they pulled back from three points down to force a tenth inning which they lost one to zero. A fantastic performance by both teams, especially Tajo's home run for Hachinohe. I'm not sure if that is him in the blip but he seemed to be the centre of attention so perhaps it is.

This afternoon's game between Tohoku and Yokohama was not so thrilling but there was another home run by Yokohama and Yokohama's pitcher was a monster, throwing some balls at 150kph. That's professional baseball speed. No wonder the Tohoku batters looked nervous.
