Hydrangea

We spent the best part of the day continuing the decluttering process with my Dad.  No 1 son joined us and helped too and it was good to catch up with him.  Dad did get quite emotional during the day which is to be expected after so many years living in one place.  He is not comfortable with change and is resistant to the idea of moving somewhere more suitable.  We took it gently and hopefully it wasn't too much of a shock.

Dad watched the Olympics in the afternoon while we tidied up and I think he had had enough by then.

We drove over to Walthamstow in the early evening to visit Santana's nephew and fiancee.  They have refurbished a lovely house there and we had a good evening with them.  V is keen on gardening and these are hydrangeas from her garden.  A lovely couple - both interested and interesting.  They are looking forward to their wedding in Greece next month but inevitably are rushing around trying to get everything done in advance of that.
