Coneflowers....

....as seen on our walk! Our city has big masses of these as well as yellow daisies & lavender planted all along the edge of Lake Drive, and they always look so pretty when we drive past that we decided to walk in that direction for a change. They were just as pretty from close up, but again I saw very few bees!  We're home now, where I'm planning to settle in to watch the evenings' Olympic events! :))
