Summer party

Today was another brilliant day! We had a fairly steady start, throwing mountains of washing into the machine, doing lots of music practise etc. We then headed to collect her wee friend and take them both to their friends swimming party. I swam too and we all had a great time. Katie loved having a friend similarly confident in the water and they both happily got to the end of the inflatable with no problem. They spent ages jumping in at the deep end, playing games with dive sticks and such. They then both ate ginormous plates of party food!

After that party we all headed to our other friends, who happen to be graces neighbours, for their annual water fight & barbecue. It was by far the best party I have been to in a long while. Katie had a brilliant time, I had a brilliant time. We zip wired, we got thrown in pools, she played for hours on a toy tractor, we rode in a trailer behind a lawn mower, I built fires & toasted marshmallows for many kids, she toasted one in the fire pit.

She was still awake at midnight. Bouncing on a trampoline and playing on the skate ramp. We got to try out our newly gifted to us tent. It's brilliant!
